So for the purposes of this video, we will be using a MIDI keyboard for our demonstration. Other MIDI equipment works in a similar fashion, but MIDI keyboards are the most popular equipment used. It is a good idea then to connect one to your computer as soon as you can, so you can start using its functionality within FL Studio. Using the midi keyboard will allow you to record melodic ideas very quickly, as well as allow you to test drive new synths and presets.
